Expected outcomes

What this workflow can help with

  • Process multiple photos in one restoration job
  • Apply a consistent restoration approach across an album
  • Download individual results or a ZIP for convenient archiving
  • Return to previous restorations from the dashboard history
Workflow

From original print to reviewed result

  1. 01

Scan every print at a consistent resolution and keep the original files unchanged.

  2. 02

Group photos with similar damage and test one image from each group.

  3. 03

Upload batches of up to 10 photos and choose the same settings for consistency.

  4. 04

Review, download, and store restored copies separately from the master scans.

Best results

Prepare the source before restoring

  • Name master scans with dates, people, or album page numbers before restoration.
  • Use colourization selectively. Keeping some photos black and white may better reflect the original album.
  • Share a small sample with relatives first so you can agree on the preferred restoration strength.
Important limitation

Restoration improves digital copies; it is not a substitute for preserving fragile originals. Keep unedited master scans and back them up in at least two places.

Questions

Before you restore

Can I upload a whole album at once?

RestoreBunny supports batches of up to 10 photos per job. Splitting an album into small, similar batches makes review and downloading easier.

Will my restored photos stay available forever?

No. Older files are deleted automatically after the retention period, so download and back up the completed album promptly.
