## How to use image color picker

1. Choose an image from your device.
2. Tap the preview or enter pixel coordinates to select a color.
3. Copy the HEX code or download the color values as text.

## A practical example

An opaque pixel with RGB values 255, 128, 0 has the HEX code #ff8000. Alpha reports transparency separately from the three color channels.

## Frequently asked questions

Does the picker work on a phone?

Yes. Tap the photo to sample a pixel. You can also enter X and Y coordinates for a more precise selection.

What happens on a transparent pixel?

The picker shows alpha separately. HEX describes RGB only; a fully transparent pixel has no visible color when composited.
