# Google Business Logo Size: Prepare a 720×720 Image

Prepare a 720×720 Google Business Profile logo copy. Keep the complete mark visible and distinguish general photo guidance from a logo-specific exact requirement.

## Which dimensions should you use?

Google's general Business Profile photo guidance recommends 720×720 pixels and sets a 250×250 minimum. This logo preset uses that general recommendation; the source does not define a separate exact logo canvas.

## Check the crop and prepare your image

Free and processed on this device. No account, credits or upload. Your original file is unchanged.

Calculate from pixel dimensions, or choose a photo for an actual preview and download. This prepares the image canvas; check file-size limits and the destination’s final crop separately.

This adds pixels to reach the output size. Resizing cannot recover missing source detail; inspect the preview before using it.

This removes 50.0% of the source area. Move the crop to keep faces, products and important text visible.

## Compose this image

Use contain to keep all letters in a wide business mark.

The photo guidelines specify JPG or PNG between 10 KB and 5 MB; check the exported bytes separately, including the lower bound.

Logo visibility also depends on the business profile's information and Google's review, not only the image dimensions.

## A worked example

A 1200×600 source fills this 720×720 canvas with a crop of about 600×600 source pixels, retaining 50.0% of its area. Filling enlarges the retained pixels by 1.20×; new pixels do not prove new detail. A square fill removes half the wide mark's source area; contain keeps the entire identity.

## Before you upload

- Use the Add a logo placement for the intended business.
- Inspect the whole mark and its opaque background.
- Check file bytes and the reviewed profile appearance after upload.

“Keep whole image” is also called fit or contain; it adds white borders instead of trimming the scene. The exporter sets pixel dimensions and placement. It does not enforce platform byte limits or predict every device’s display crop. ## Questions about Google Business Logo

### Does Google require every logo to be exactly 720×720?

The source gives general recommended photo dimensions. This preset should not be treated as a separate exact logo requirement.

### Will the exported logo appear immediately?

No guarantee. Business verification, profile information and the platform's media review are separate from file preparation.
